- ‘-으려면’ is a connective ending formed by combining ‘-으려’(intention) and ‘-면’(if). In the same way, ‘-으려’ can combine with other endings, such as:
- –으려면 (if [subject] want to~)
- –으려니까 (since [subject] want to~)
- –으려는데 ([subject] was/were about to~, but/and…)
These forms are also can be used with 하다 verb, as in ‘으려 하면’, ‘으려 하니까’, ’으려 하는데’.
