- ‘-ㄹ/을 거예요’ can also be used to make predictions(guessing) about the present.
치히로 씨는 선생님일 거예요.
Chihiro is probably a teacher.
(If you want to say “Chihiro will be a teacher”, You can say “치히로 씨는 선생님이 될 거예요”. ‘~이/가 되다’ means ‘to become~’.)
